Global Sun Landscape

Global Sun Landscape (GSL) is a licensed and bonded full service landscape company providing commercial and residential landscape installation and maintenance. GSL is owned and operated by Miguel Aspeitia, a Cal Poly graduate with a BS in Ornamental Horticulture and more than 25 years experience in the landscape industry.

We can convert existing landscapes with high water-use areas such as turf to specifically designed low water-use gardens with drought tolerant plant material. We install landscapes from existing landscape plans or we have the capacity to design landscapes to suit your needs.

GSL also provides catch can testing using the Cal Poly Catch Can Method and mandatory water audits required by municipalities for new landscape installations. Miguel is an IA Certified Irrigation Auditor and Certified CLCA Irrigation Manager and has performed irrigation audits throughout multiple cities and counties in the greater bay area, including San Francisco County, San Mateo County, Santa Clara County, Marin County, and Alameda County.

Our services include monthly or weekly site maintenance, site clean-ups, and site demolition. Our detail oriented staff can design and install or retrofit existing irrigation systems using water conserving irrigation equipment and sub-surface drip irrigation to conserve water. We install Weather Based Irrigation Controllers (WBIC) that utilizes weather data to automatically adjust station run times so plants receive the appropriate amounts of water through the growing season.

Other Services from Global Sun Landscape

With the growing need to conserve water throughout California, we at GSL are committed to utilizing the most up-to-date water conservation practices, including turf removal and drip irrigation installation, while creating beautiful landscapes.

GSL also installs mulch, decorative rock, fencing, and pathways; retaining walls made of wood, dry stacked rock or cemented rock, erosion control, shrubs, groundcover, and trees.

GSL can design and install low voltage landscape lighting systems to extend viewing time of your garden, for security to light up walkways, and paths to show direction.

GSL staff can design Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) and provide seasonal maintenance after installation of SWPPP.
